CGL® System provides lower capital costs, transportation tariffs, and operating costs which in turn enables lower value chain costs than other fuel options. It also provides the ability to market approximately 10% greater volumes of gas and gas liquids due to system efficiencies and fuel savings.

Gas & Gas Liquids Carried Together

No separate system is needed to separate and carry gas liquids as required for other products. 100% of the Btu value can be delivered to market ready to separation and use.

No land based facilities are needed for gas or liquids handling.

Environmental
and Safety

The CGL® System uses at least two-thirds less energy consumption due to moderate pressures and temperatures, resulting in significantly reduced emissions.

If a release occurs of the CGL® cargo, it vaporizes immediately with minimal negative environmental impact.

Production Platform
Alternative

Operators can avoid the cost of a production platform by bringing production directly onto the Gas Loading Vessel. CGL manufacturing can be handled aboard the Gas Loading Vessel.

Conventional Technology Used

Gas Loading Vessel (FP(S)O)

Vessel is a standard deepwater or barge type steel hull design, with or without storage.

50% of the vessel costs are for normal production facilities.

CGL® Shuttle Carrier (CGLC)

Hull design is that of an Independent Hull Platform, similar to a container and heavy-lift ship design. Containment System consists of a liquid cargo CGL® storage system consisting of continuous carbon steel pipe.

Gas Unloading Vessel (FP(S)O)

Vessel is a standard deepwater or barge type steel hull design, with or without storage.

No separate regas port facility is needed, simplifying permitting needs.
